NECA’s Louisville Chapter has helped construct a brighter future for Louisville and surrounding regions for nearly a century. Our members are the region’s most qualified electrical and telecom contractors. The Chapter delivers the highest standards in electrical construction to diverse projects throughout the region through our unparalleled education programs, management training, skilled workforce training and effective labor relations.

Working in partnership with IBEW Local 369, NECA Louisville contractors bring unequalled skill, experience, safety, reliability and dedication to each construction project. Furthermore, our collaboration and partnership has fostered one of the best trade schools in the country. Aspiring electricians can pursue apprenticeship programs like the Louisville Electrical JATC. JATC provides a four-year apprenticeship program that allows you to earn while you learn and provides a path from Apprentice to CEO. A life-changing opportunity cloaked in brotherhood, commitment and Employment of electricians is projected to grow more than 11 percent from 2023 to 2033, much faster than the average for all occupations. The Board of Directors for the Louisville NECA Chapter plays a critical role in guiding the chapter’s mission and ensuring its effective operation. The board is responsible for providing strategic oversight, setting policies, and ensuring sound financial management in alignment with NECA’s objectives. Board members act as fiduciaries, safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders—including members, employees, and the broader community—by upholding ethical and legal standards, monitoring organizational performance, and supporting the executive director. They regularly meet to review reports, discuss operational matters, and make key decisions that drive the chapter’s long-term value and effectiveness. Through their collective leadership, the board steers the Louisville NECA Chapter towards fulfilling its mission and advancing the interests of the electrical construction industry in Louisville and surrounding regions.
